Eighteen months of work from over 100 people in ten countries finally comes to fruition today, with the film’s World Premiere this afternoon at the Paramount Theater here in Austin. There are so many people who’ve helped make this project possible, from the designers in the film and their staffs, to the all the people who helped make the film or have done technical work on it. My deep thanks to you all, and I hope you enjoy the final product.
And a note to SxSW Interactive attendees: your badge gets you into this afternoon’s World Premiere! This screening of Objectified is a joint Film/IA event. Just get there early…
If you can’t make it to Texas this weekend, PBS will be interviewing me live from SxSW at 3:30pm CST Monday, March 16. (Update: due to some technical issue, the interview wasn’t streamed live, but will be posted on the PBS site in the next day or two.)
Cheers,
-Gary

Michael C. Place and his studiomates at Build have come up with an awesome poster design for Objectified, featuring drawings of dozens of objects from designers in the film and more. Our favorite part of the poster is the bottom row of images, which are the objects we used to actually make the film (genius idea, Michael!).
Looks like we’ll have to be patrolling the walls at South by Southwest again this time. 27″ x 39″, metallic silver and black, lithograph. We’ll be adding them to the shop soon.
