London, done

Gary, Alice, Jony, and Marc at the London Q&A. Photo by Gary Cohen.

Oh what a night! Our London Premiere was outstanding… a sold-out cinema (the grand but slightly tattered old Chelsea), and a post-film discussion with Jony Ive, Marc Newson, and Alice Rawsthorn. Thanks to Paolo and all the staff at the Chelsea for all the work, and to everyone who attended. It was really cool to see Stephen Fry, Jony, Marc, and Helvetica star Michael C. Place all in one row. The Q&A portion went well, except for an unruly microphone that kept cutting out. And another special thanks to the Pig’s Ear for hosting our after-party. Cheers!

The film will be screening again in London at the Barbican Centre cinemas starting May 22. Tickets are on sale now.

On to San Francisco!

Would’ve loved to have been there. I’m sure the post-film discussion must have been fantastic.

Will this commentary session be released at some point? I am sure it was filmed and that many that couldn’t be there in person would enjoy watching.

Apologies for not asking a question. I really regretted not asking one afterwards.
