Exactly right…. I am almost a graduated product designer.. but we have a saying… “the customer needs upbringing” ..which means as much as… ; they don’t know what’s right for them …

And yes, we designers all learn early on that it is our job to help a client understand what he or she actually needs/wants. They don’t always think they need that help! ;)
